We are Frankie & Kat Balboa
The two of us have been married since March of 2018. Frankie is a full-time photographer, part-time Sailor at “it’s a small world”. Kat is a full time middle school teacher and theatre director, and works as a second photographer for The Balboas Photography. Frankie has loved photography her entire life and has a knack for capturing the authentic moments, the ones in between poses, where you forget about the camera completely. She loves all kinds of photo sessions, but her favorites include weddings, engagements, and family sessions. Kat developed her love of photography after starting as Frankie's assistant and learning from that experience. She eventually began taking a larger role in Frankie's photo sessions, applying her skills as a theatre director to help direct the photo sessions and began exploring getting behind the camera for portrait sessions and headshots. Now we work as a team to give everyone who works with us a comfortable and fun photoshoot experience and memories of the biggest moments in their lives.
